WeCare System's patient management keeps each patient's file in one secure place: medical history, treatment plans, prescriptions, lab and X-ray requests, appointments and invoices. Doctors and staff open the same file from any computer, tablet or phone, each with the permissions of their role.
The whole patient record in one file
Paper files get lost and spreadsheets go out of date. In WeCare System the patient's file holds their complete medical history, current and previous treatment plans and organized health files, next to their appointments and invoices. When a patient returns, their history is on screen before they sit down.
Prescriptions and test requests from the file
Doctors issue prescriptions and request lab tests and X-rays with editable templates, directly from the patient's file. Everything the doctor issues stays in the patient's record.
Access by role, data kept per clinic
Every staff member has their own user account with permissions for their role: doctor, reception, accounts or admin. Each clinic's data is separate and only reachable by that clinic's users. Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services and every connection uses HTTPS.
How a patient file is used during a visit
- Reception registers a new patient once; returning patients are already in the system.
- The doctor opens the file and reviews the medical history and treatment plans before the consultation.
- During the visit the doctor adds notes, updates the treatment plan and issues prescriptions or test requests.
- Reception books the next appointment and issues the invoice for the visit.
